Do I need a foundation?
At a minimum we want to make sure the unit isn't sitting directly on the ground. ModMod units are self-supporting across the width (12-14 foot side) and only require support along the length (24-36 ft long side).
This can be accomplished a number of ways such as concrete grade beams/stem wall (see info below) or footings/piers. All of these options are inexpensive compared to a full foundation.
Foundation Runner Info (aka Grade Beams or Stem Wall)
This is the most popular foundation option and makes delivery and setting very simple.
The ground shown below is not level, so the foundation runners create a clean, level surface for the unit to rest on. Cinder blocks are placed on top of the runners as the unit is set providing clearance for utility connections/crawl space.

Runners should be roughly 12 inches (1ft) into the ground depending on your soil composition

Runners should be 12 inches wide and 12 ft from outer edge to outer edge (14 ft if your unit is 14 ft wide)

Runners should be the length of your unit (shown as 36 ft for a 36 ft long unit)

Runners will be nearly flush with the tallest part of the ground and then be level along their length

The top of the foundation runners should be troweled smooth
Where can you ship the units?
While we are headquartered in Central Texas, we can bring your project to life anywhere in the country.
What electrical connections to I need?
We can work with you on this. Depending on the ModMod model you purchase, we can set it up to be a 30A/120V RV plug/connection, a 50A/220V RV plug/connection or direct wire.
How tall are the units?
Our modules have a standard roof height of 11' 6" tall.
Are the units engineered?
Yes. Plans are built to 2021 International Residential Code and designed to withstand 130 mph winds and snow loads of 20 pfs.
Can I come see the factory and units being built?
Yes, however factory tours and visits are by appointment only.
